The 2011 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade brings thousands of people into the streets of New York to see the floats, balloons and musical performances. Plenty of people means plenty of smartphones, taking and tweeting pictures of the Thanksgiving festivities.
During and after the parade, we’ll be watching the Twitterverse for our favorite tweeted photos and sharing them here as we find them. We’ll also be attempting something new and exciting this year: a live map showing where tweeted photos were sent from along the parade route.
Join us while you enjoy the parade. If you find a good image on Twitter or tweet one yourself, submit it in the comments section below! If you’d like it added to our map, be sure to let us know where you took the pic.
